Do you have type 1 diabetes and have trouble feeling when your blood glucose is low?
Then, you may want to take part in our new research: the CLEAR study.
  • If you can not feel when your blood glucose is low (hypoglycemia) you may have impaired awareness of hypoglycemia or IAH.
  • If you have IAH, you have a much greater chance of having a severe low, which means you need others to help you treat the low because you are confused or unconscious.
  • We are looking for ways to help us treat IAH and test which approaches are most useful.
  • The CLEAR study hopes to find the best treatments for IAH so they can be used by people across the world living with type 1 diabetes.
  • The study is based on over 30 years of research and is run by experts in type 1 diabetes, including endocrinologists, health professionals, psychologists and people living with type 1 diabetes from around the world.
